Practical, research-led support for inclusive classrooms and schools
Wonder Neurodiversity CIC works alongside schools to support inclusive practice that is realistic, evidence-informed and grounded in the day-to-day realities of teaching.
Our work is shaped by extensive experience in primary and secondary classrooms, initial teacher education, and university-level SEND and inclusion professional development teaching. We understand the pressures schools are under: limited time, competing priorities, stretched SEND budgets, and the need for approaches that actually work in real classrooms.
Our approach supports schools to strengthen inclusive practice in ways that align with Ofsted expectations around quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management, whilst also retaining neuro-affirmative practices which support wellbeing and thriving for neurodivergent pupils.
Why work with Wonder Neurodiversity?
- We understand schools from the inside
Our work is informed by experience teaching in primary and secondary schools, alongside training teachers and school leaders at university level, including SEND and inclusion programmes. - Aligned with inspection priorities
Our training and consultancy support schools to demonstrate inclusive practice that meets Ofsted expectations, including:- ambitious curricula for all pupils
- effective removal of barriers to learning
- strong behaviour cultures grounded in understanding, not punishment
- support for staff confidence and consistency
- Research-informed, not trend-driven
We draw on contemporary research and the perspectives of neurodivergent children and young people themselves. This supports schools to move beyond outdated or contested models that can unintentionally increase staff workload and pupil distress. - Respectful of staff expertise
We work with teachers, not at them. Our approach supports reflection and confidence-building without blame, judgement or defensiveness.
